Summit Human Capital is searching for a driven Senior Technology Operations Center (TOC) Analyst to join our client's team within the banking sector. This role represents the top technical escalation point in the TOC, specializing in advanced issue resolution, incident response, and enhancing monitoring systems—particularly SolarWinds.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5-7 years in IT operations or TOC/NOC roles
- Extensive practical experience with SolarWinds (NPM, NTA, SAM, or similar)
- Comprehensive expertise in server, network, cloud, and virtualization technologies
- Exceptional skills in communication, troubleshooting, and incident management
- Wide-ranging technical proficiency, including mastery of monitoring solutions like SolarWinds and ThousandEyes
- Strong ability to document processes and maintain accuracy
- Background in banking
- Certifications such as ITIL v4, CCNA, Network , SolarWinds SCP
- Experience with scripting and automation
- Act as the primary Tier 3 escalation contact for advanced issues identified by monitoring tools
- Direct technical response efforts during critical incidents, leveraging metrics, logs, and analytics from monitoring platforms
- Refine alert settings, dashboards, service mapping, and suppression rules for monitoring systems
- Detect monitoring deficiencies and partner with engineering teams to integrate new assets
- Create and update runbooks, troubleshooting manuals, and network topology documentation for platforms
- Mentor and support Tier 1 and Tier 2 analysts
- Participate in disaster recovery drills and confirm monitoring effectiveness using SolarWinds data
