Summit Human Capital is seeking a highly motivated Full Stack Cloud Engineer to support our client in Richmond, VA in the public sector, enhancing the delivery through innovative technology solutions. This position has the exciting opportunity to support the transition of legacy mainframe systems to a modern technology stack, driving impactful improvements for customers, employees, and business partners. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
Required Skills:
· Frontend Technologies: React, Single-Spa, JavaScript, TypeScript
· Backend Technologies: Node.js, Python, .NET
· AWS Services: AWS Lambda, Amazon API Gateway, Amazon S3, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon RDS
· Infrastructure as Code / Cloud Automation: Terraform, AWS CDK, AWS SAM
Desired:
· Strong real-world hands-on AWS cloud engineering experience, preferably 10 years of professional experience.
Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and maintain full-stack cloud-native applications using React, Single-Spa, Node.js, Python, and .NET technologies.
· Architect and implement scalable AWS serverless solutions utilizing Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, and RDS.
· Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud automation using Terraform, AWS CDK, and AWS SAM, while supporting CI/CD pipelines.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize application performance, security, scalability, and reliability, while troubleshooting complex production issues.
The hourly pay range for this position is $50 – $55, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
