Summit Human Capital is seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst to support our client in a hybrid capacity in Richmond, VA with a Fortune 100 client. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
Requirements:
- 4 years of experience analyzing structured and unstructured data using SQL, SAS, or UNIX
- 4 years of hands-on experience working AWS environments
- 4 years of experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau
- 4 years of experience scripting with Python, R, Pyspark
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes using SQL, Python, and AWS (e.g., S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders
- Ability to perform data profiling, validation, and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy
- Capable of identifying and resolving data quality issues while supporting ongoing data governance efforts
- Experience managing and building datasets in Snowflake and/or Databricks
- Prior experience in a financial services or large enterprise environment
- Familiarity with data privacy, security, and compliance standards
- Analyze and communicate data insights across cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to support critical projects in card modernization
- Develop dashboards, queries, and real-time visualizations using industry-standard tools
- Support the transition of external systems to internal infrastructure
- Enable modernization by leveraging cloud-based data tools and practices
- Translate business needs into scalable technical data solutions aligned with enterprise goals
