Studio B Dance Company is a positive, community-centered dance studio focused on helping students of all ages grow in confidence, coordination, and creativity. Our preschool program introduces young children to movement and music in a fun, structured, and encouraging environment.

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, energetic Preschool Movement Teacher to work with children ages 18months–5 years. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children and can create a fun, engaging, and structured class experience that supports early development and a love for movement.

Responsibilities

• Teach preschool movement and beginner dance classes for ages 18month–5 years
• Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate lessons using music and creative movement
• Maintain a safe, positive, and structured classroom environment
• Manage classroom behavior with patience and consistency
• Communicate professionally with parents and studio staff
• Prepare students for performances and studio events (including 2 annual recitals)
• Arrive on time and prepared for all scheduled classes

Qualifications

• Experience working with young children required (teaching, childcare, preschool, or similar)
• Dance experience or movement background preferred but not required
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Positive, patient, and dependable
• Ability to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all children

Schedule

• Mornings, Afternoons and/or early evenings
• Flexible scheduling based on availability and enrollment
