Position Summary:
We are seeking a caring and reliable Afternoon Support Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will lead small group activities, supervise children during playtime, and help ensure a smooth transition from afternoon care to dismissal. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to make a positive impact on their daily experiences. It’s also a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience working with a variety of age groups.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM
What You’ll Do:
- Supervise and engage with children in a safe and nurturing manner.
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, creativity, and social-emotional growth.
- Assist with snack time and end of day routines.
- Maintain open and positive communication with families and team members.
- Follow all licensing and safety regulations.
