Storm4 are partnered with a Series-A funded developer and owner-operator of Merchant Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) assets across the deregulated power markets of the US.
We are searching for a Commercial Lead who can head up the Commercial and Strategic business function β heading up M&A, Strategic Partnerships, Origination and Investment Analytics.
What you'll do
- Define company's long term approach to the US Power Markets by developing and executing strategies to exploit opportunities arising from Load Growth, Transmission Constraints, Regulatory Changes, and novel energy generation & storage technologies
- Develop strategic partnerships with Financiers, Developers, Power Producers, and Large off-takers
- Represent the company in front of investors, regulators, prospective partners and other midmarket actors
What we're looking for
- 6 years of experience in Strategy Consulting, Investment Banking, Origination, Investment, or Senior Operating roles
- Deep understanding of the US Power Markets and a range of relevant technologies / asset types
- Demonstrated success in executing joint ventures, acquisitions, divestitures, battery tolling agreements, or long-term power purchase agreements
- Strong quantitative skill set
