Senior Electrical Engineer

About the Opportunity

This role offers the opportunity to work on next-generation embedded systems, motion controls, sensors, and electromechanical products that support critical operations around the globe.
Reporting to senior engineering leadership, the Electrical Engineer will contribute to both new product development and ongoing product improvements while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary engineering team
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop embedded processor-based control systems and digital hardware platforms.
- Lead electrical design activities for complex engineering projects.
- Develop system architectures with consideration for EMI/RFI compliance requirements.
- Create electrical designs, schematics, and supporting technical documentation.
- Perform engineering analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause investigations.
- Conduct qualification and validation testing to aerospace and military standards.
- Prepare engineering reports and technical documentation throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Support production and manufacturing teams with troubleshooting and technical guidance.
- Collaborate with mechanical, systems, manufacturing, and project engineering teams.
- Work with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors to achieve technical and program objectives.
- Mentor and provide technical direction to junior engineers and support personnel when required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong background in electrical system design and product development.
- Experience developing embedded processor-based hardware and control systems.
- Experience with analog and processor-based motion control systems.
- Familiarity with aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated engineering environments.
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or similar platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Technical Experience
- Aerospace actuators, sensors, or electromechanical systems.
- SPI, Ethernet, ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, CAN Bus, or similar communication protocols.
- RTCA DO-254 compliance methodologies.
- Knowledge of DO-160, MIL-STD-461, and MIL-STD-704 requirements.
- Systems engineering and product development within military or commercial aerospace markets.
