Job Summary
As a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Float Pool RN, you’ll keep your skills sharp by working with diverse patient populations. No two days are the same—which is exactly how you like it.
Title: MS/Tele Float Pool RN
Location: Burien, WA
Start Date: 11/03/2025
Shift: Days | 12-hour shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Weekly Hours: 36 hours/week
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Caring for MS/Tele patients: including cardiac dysrhythmias, GI issues, dialysis needs, and general med cases
- Floating between units/facilities as needed
- Managing a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio (with support: 1 aide per 10–12 patients)
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams including charge nurses, RTs, and monitor techs
- Using Epic EMR and regional monitoring systems (no rhythm interpretation required)
- Titrating occasional low-dose drips (e.g., dopamine)
Requirements
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years recent MS/Tele experience
- Dialysis and cardiac care skills required
- PCU or ICU background strongly preferred
- Certifications (must be AHA-approved):
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
