Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited MD or DO program.
- Board Certification required. NRP Certification necessary.
- Current license to practice in the state of Montana.
- Preferred experience of two (2) years.
- Willingness to see pediatric patients on the inpatient side as well.
- Full-time position with a 4 and 1/2 day work week.
- Salary range between $260K-$280K with full benefits, relocation/sign-on package, and housing provided for up to the first 6 months.
- The Family Medicine Physician will take on a practice that is ready to go and deliver professional medical services including planning, overseeing, and assessing resident and employee healthcare at The Medical Center Clinic.
- Diagnose and treat chronic and acute illnesses, minor injuries, accidents, and other health issues; conduct selected laboratory tests; prescribe medications and perform office procedures within the scope of expertise, protocols, and available equipment.
- Collaborate with a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner in patient care.
- Treat patients of all age groups and conduct clinic procedures and physical examinations relevant to licensing and specialization.
- See new patients for orientation to services and development of treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records (including business/medical records) related to all professional services provided and recommended.
- Ensure timely completion of documentation in patient records.
- Prepare and manage all reports, claims, and correspondence required for professional services.
- Able to attend to newborns and assist in deliveries if needed.
- The Pediatric Physician to join our collaborative team at the Clinic. This turn-key practice allows you to step into a well-established patient panel and work side-by-side with experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
- During your four and a half (4.5) day work week, you'll care for infants, children, and adolescents, while also playing a crucial role in newborn care and community wellness.
- Provide outpatient care for chronic and acute pediatric conditions
- Perform clinic procedures and physical exams
- Attend newborn deliveries and provide infant care and discharge planning
- Participate in a rotating call schedule for pediatric and newborn coverage
- Collaborate with care teams and mentor mid-level providers
- Maintain timely documentation and contribute to a supportive clinical environment
- Attend professional development programs and support ongoing quality improvement initiatives
Facility is a 25 bed critical access hospital with a clinic and skilled facility. Great team environment and it's a great place to work.
Will see around 16-18 patients a day.
