Stelvio is seeking a mid-to-senior level Infrastructure Security Engineer / Systems Administrator with strong hands-on experience across enterprise production environments.
This role is ideal for an infrastructure professional who combines deep systems administration expertise with a strong understanding of cybersecurity, vulnerability remediation, and patch management best practices.
You will act as a key bridge between Infrastructure and Security, taking ownership of patching, remediation, and operational stability across a predominantly on-prem Windows / Hyper-V environment.

Environment Overview
- Primarily on-premise infrastructure across North America
- Global Azure / AWS cloud footprint in selected regions
- Highly available production environments with clustered / virtualized infrastructure
- Focus on maintaining, securing, and optimizing existing enterprise systems
Key Responsibilities
Patch Management & Vulnerability Remediation (Primary Focus)
- Own and execute enterprise patch management processes across production Windows server environments
- Lead vulnerability remediation efforts, including assessment, prioritization, testing, deployment, and validation
- Respond to urgent cybersecurity vulnerabilities / CVEs / zero-day threats and coordinate remediation plans
- Balance remediation urgency with production stability and operational risk
- Maintain remediation documentation, patch reporting, and audit/compliance records
Infrastructure & Virtualization Support
- Administer and support enterprise Windows Server infrastructure
- Manage and maintain Hyper-V environments, including clustered / high-availability hosts
- Patch and maintain Hyper-V hosts / virtual infrastructure while preserving uptime and resilience
- Troubleshoot production infrastructure issues and perform root cause analysis
- Monitor performance, health, and availability across server / virtualization environments
Security & Compliance
- Implement system hardening and secure configuration standards
- Partner with Security teams on vulnerability management, remediation, and audit readiness
- Support enterprise security tools / monitoring / endpoint security platforms
- Maintain compliance with internal security policies and external frameworks
Operational Support
- Participate in change management processes and maintenance windows
- Support incident response and remediation efforts
- Contribute to continuous improvement of patching / remediation / operational workflows
Required Experience
Must Have
- 5 years in Systems Administration / Infrastructure Engineering / Enterprise Infrastructure Support
- Strong hands-on Windows Server administration experience
- Proven ownership of patch management / patch deployment in production environments
- Experience with vulnerability remediation and cybersecurity prioritization
- Hands-on experience supporting Hyper-V environments / clustered virtualization infrastructure
- Strong troubleshooting / root cause analysis skills
- Experience supporting high-availability production environments
Preferred
- Linux administration experience (Red Hat / similar)
- Experience with security / vulnerability tools such as:
- Qualys
- Nessus
- Rapid7
- CrowdStrike
- Similar enterprise platforms
- PowerShell / scripting / automation experience
- Familiarity with security frameworks:
- NIST
- ISO 27001
- CIS

Salary : $110,000 - $120,000
