Location & Work Arrangement
- City, State: Atlanta, Georgia
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite per week).
- Contract: This is a Contract position subject to annual budget review.
- Onsite Requirement: REQUIRED to be onsite 2-3 days per week at the Atlanta (Midtown) office.
- Preference: LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY with full-time residency in the Atlanta Metro area / State of Georgia.
- Mode of Interview: Either Web Cam or In Person.
Key Responsibilities and Focus Areas
Project Execution and Process
- Project Lifecycle Management: Manage projects through the full lifecycle, from project definition through implementation of deliverables, with minimal oversight required for large projects.
- Hybrid Methodology: Apply an understanding of Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban) to facilitate development teams while managing overall project tracking via Waterfall schedules.
- Documentation & Planning: Identify relevant audiences and create thorough meeting preparation materials, including Project Charter and kick-off presentations. Draft process and 'how to' documentation.
- Escalation: Understand when and how to escalate issues to other groups when necessary.
- Process Improvement: Assist with identifying project constraints, risks, inefficiencies, and areas where processes can be improved and reinforced.
Collaboration and Reporting
- Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate with other PMs, clients, vendors, and engineering teams, ensuring follow-up and adequate communication for continuous alignment.
- Meeting Facilitation: Conduct and facilitate routine meetings/ceremonies, generating and archiving notes that add value to management decision-making.
- Tracking Tools: Maintain project boards and dashboards utilizing project management software such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, Project Online, and the SharePoint Project Template.
- Data Visualization: Create and analyze Data Visualization in the form of dashboards to help understand team velocity and/or milestone progress.
- Documentation Management: Consistently maintain project status, update project roadmaps, and maintain, update, and archive project documentation.
