The Opportunity
An established electrical contractor in Atlanta is looking to add an experienced Electrical Project Manager to their team. The company has a strong pipeline of work across data center, industrial, and commercial projects, offering the opportunity to work on technically challenging and high-value projects across the region.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager looking to take ownership of major projects, work with a strong operational team, and develop their career within a growing electrical contractor.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage electrical projects from preconstruction through to completion and closeout.
- Take overall responsibility for project financial performance, scheduling, procurement, and delivery.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.
- Coordinate with clients, general contractors, engineers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
- Manage procurement of electrical equipment, materials, and subcontractor packages.
- Work closely with the Superintendent and field teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to specification.
- Identify and manage project risks, changes, and potential cost impacts.
- Lead regular project meetings and maintain strong client relationships.
- Support estimating and preconstruction teams on upcoming projects.
- Ensure all project documentation and closeout requirements are completed effectively.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience managing electrical construction projects.
- Strong commercial understanding of electrical construction and project financials.
- Experience working for an electrical contractor.
- Experience across data center, industrial, commercial, or other complex electrical projects.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of electrical construction processes, drawings, specifications, and scheduling.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- Proficiency with construction/project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar.
- Electrical trade background, degree, or equivalent construction experience preferred.
