The Role
You will act as a technical bridge, refactoring legacy application logic (PL/SQL) and migrating data into an AWS-based environment. This involves forensic-level code analysis of "sentence computation" and "records" modules to ensure accuracy in the new system.
Core Technical Skills
- Oracle PL/SQL (SME Level): Expert-level mastery of procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
- SQL Power User: Advanced query optimization and performance tuning.
- Data Migration & ETL: Proven experience in schema transformation and mapping data from legacy systems to the cloud.
- Legacy Logic Extraction: Ability to read undocumented legacy code and translate it into modern business requirements.
- Reporting Tools: Experience migrating Crystal Reports to modern platforms (e.g., Power BI or AWS QuickSight).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AWS database services.
- Scripting in Python or PowerShell.
- Previous experience with Offender Management or Justice systems.
- Experience collaborating with third-party vendor teams on large-scale migrations.
