What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patent Litigation Associate position at Stealth Law Firm?
We're a boutique firm focused on high-value patent enforcement, patent monetization, and select high-value defense matters, known as one of the top trial teams in the country. We're built around delivering value, not billable hours — and we're looking for a Patent Litigation Associate to work directly with senior trial lawyers on sophisticated, high-stakes cases.
What you'll do:
- Support all phases of patent litigation — discovery, claim construction, motions, expert work, and trial
- Work closely with technical experts to master complex technology at issue
- Draft motions, prepare witnesses, and take/defend depositions
- Take on substantive responsibility early, working directly with partners on strategy
What we're looking for:
- J.D. and active Virginia or Washington, D.C. Bar membership
- Technical degree (engineering, CS, physics, or related) strongly preferred
- 2–5 years of patent litigation experience, ideally in district court, ITC, or PTAB matters
- Trial experience is a must.
- Strong writing and analytical skills, with a genuine interest in trial work
- Comfort in a lean, high-performance environment with early responsibility
Salary and Other Compensation:
The base salary for this position is between $210,000 and $300,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
