Staffmax Healthcare is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a fast-paced OR travel assignment in Kalispell, MT. This role is ideal for an OR nurse with strong acute care, robotics, neuro, and trauma experience who is confident circulating complex surgical cases.
Compensation Highlights
- $2,637.60 Weekly Gross
- $1,617 Weekly Tax-Free Stipends
- $28.35/hr Taxable Rate
- $73.27/hr Blended Rate
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years acute care OR experience – Required
- Prior travel experience – Required
- Robotics experience – Required
- Neuro experience – Required
- Trauma OR experience – Required
- Circulating experience required
- Da Vinci XI experience required
- IV starts and scrub experience preferred

Schedule
- Day Shift
- 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours guaranteed
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Call required

What You’ll Do
- Circulate in the Operating Room for a wide range of surgical cases
- Support cases involving robotics, neuro, trauma, ortho trauma, vascular, general surgery, ENT, GYN, urology, and thoracic procedures
- Float between OR areas within the same facility as needed
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, CSTs, FAs, charge nurses, and management
- Use strong clinical judgment in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech
- Support safe, efficient, and high-quality surgical patient care
Requirements
- Active RN License – Required
- BLS Certification – Required
- ACLS Certification – Required
- CNOR – Preferred
- PALS – Preferred
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced OR setting
- Must be willing to float between OR areas as needed
Call Requirements
- 1 weekend per month
- Saturday and Sunday coverage may be 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 1 overnight call shift per week
- End of shift through 7:00 AM
- 30-minute response time required
- No sleep rooms available
