Staffmax Healthcare is seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) for a fast-paced travel assignment in Kalispell, MT. This role is ideal for a strong CVOR nurse with experience in CABG, TAVR, valve cases, vascular procedures, trauma, neuro, robotics, and complex OR cases.

Schedule
- Day Shift | 7:00 AM Start
- 10-hour day shifts
- Monday–Friday
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Call required
- Holiday call may apply
What You’ll Do
- Circulate for CVOR cases including CABG, TAVR, AVR, MVR, sternotomy, thoracotomy/thoracoscopy, VATS, aortic repairs, fistulas, peripheral cases, fem-pops, and carotid endarterectomies
- Support 1–2 CV cases per day
- Float into Main OR and additional OR areas as needed
- Assist with complex adult and pediatric surgical cases
- Work with cases involving neuro, trauma, robotics, vascular, surgical oncology, general, urology, GYN, thoracic, ENT, ortho, podiatry, dental, plastics, and breast procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, FAs, surgical techs, PAs, perfusionists, anesthesia, RNs, and leadership
- Document using Meditech
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years CVOR experience – Required
- Must be comfortable with CVOR and Main OR coverage
- Experience with the listed CV and surgical case types required
- Must be comfortable with high-level neuro surgeries
- Must be comfortable with robotics, including Da Vinci XI and DV5
- Must be comfortable with pediatric and adult OR cases
- IV starts and scrub experience preferred
- Travel experience preferred, but first-time travelers may be considered
Requirements
- Active RN License – Required
- BLS Certification – Required
- ACLS Certification – Required
- CNOR – Preferred
- PALS – Preferred
- Strong OR clinical judgment and flexibility
- Must be comfortable in a fast-paced surgical environment
Call Requirements
- Call once every third day
- Call once every third weekend
- Will split call with 2 other CVOR RNs
- May also serve as backup trauma call while on call
- 30-minute response time required
