Responsibilities:
- Handling of raw material to load/unload, start new coils.
- Ensure quality conformance on all presses by filling out operator inspection sheets.
- Read and understand blueprints and work instructions.
- Needs to complete daily logs and report production in the ERP system.
- Use of inspection tools in checking parts.
- Communicate with the supervisor to aid in production and quality.
- Functionality of the press (Jog, run, stop).
- Maintain the department/work area clean and organized.
- Follow ISO/IATF, safety, and environmental procedures as well as department and corporate policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- 1 year of previous punch press experience.
- Experience using an ERP system.
- Able to use calipers and micrometers.
- Certification on forklift.
- Physically able to stand, lift, bend, and move throughout the shift (up to 50 lbs).
- Reliable, on time, and ready to work every day.
- Willingness to learn new machines or processes.
- Strong work ethic and ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a positive attitude and respect for safety and coworkers
