Hours and Pay
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour (based on experience)
Shifts Available:
- 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 5:00 PM - 1:00 AM
- Weekend Shift: Friday-Monday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Training: 1 week on 1st shift
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Dress Code: Casual
Work Environment: Primarily seated work with minimal lifting required
What You'll Do
As a CNC Machine Operator, you'll be part of a skilled production team ensuring each product meets exacting standards. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and operating CNC machines to perform precise drilling, milling, and grinding tasks.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings to understand specifications.
- Translating technical instructions into accurate computer commands for machine operation.
- Loading raw materials and setting up machines for production.
- Running test pieces to ensure all outputs meet quality and dimensional standards.
- Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments as needed to maintain optimal results.
- Maintaining a clean, organized workspace and following all safety and quality procedures.
What You'll Bring
- Knowledge of machine shop equipment and machining practices (hands-on experience is a plus).
- Technical school training or on-the-job machining experience.
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret mechanical drawings.
