Please note, this is an in-office position. Candidates MUST be within commuting distance of Geneseo, NY.
Hours & Pay
- Pay: $17.20-$17.75 per hour monthly bonus opportunities
- Training Schedule:
- Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
- Post-Training Flexible Schedule:
- Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM-9:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM-7:00 PM
- Choose an 8-hour shift within these timeframes
- One evening shift (until 9 PM) is required weekly
- Employment Type: Temp-to-hire, on-site only

Daily Tasks
- Reach out to individuals with delinquent accounts to discuss repayment options
- Manage inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and accuracy
- Conduct skip-tracing to secure updated contact or employment information
- Negotiate payment arrangements or escalate complex cases appropriately
- Document all communication thoroughly and follow scripts precisely
- Verify data for special account circumstances, including bankruptcy or disability
- Maintain compliance with federal/state regulations and internal policies
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of collections experience
- Strong communication, reading, and typing skills
- Familiarity with office software and computer systems
- Excellent attention to detail and organization
- Ability to follow structured procedures independently
- Must be within commuting distance of Geneseo, NY (in-office requirement)
