Job Description:
- Initiate collection activities for delinquent payments via phone, email, and written communication.
- Research and resolve customer account disputes, including volume discrepancies, pricing, or billing issues.
- Collaborate with Sales, Managers, and Customers to address payment delays and account concerns.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of collection efforts and resolution statuses.
- Analyze past-due accounts and apply appropriate collection strategies.
- Identify trends or recurring issues and propose process improvements to minimize delinquency.
- Support the Credit Department in achieving collection goals and maintaining a healthy credit portfolio.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting/finance ERP systems (e.g., Workday).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to analyze financial data and determine effective collection actions.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
