Job Title: Equipment & Tool Engineer

Location: Everett, Washington (On-site)

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated professional for a contractor assignment supporting critical structural analysis and validation of production tooling within a major aerospace program. Our team values precision, collaboration, and excellence in technical analysis, ensuring safe and effective tooling solutions for manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structural analyses for tooling and production equipment, including evaluation of static, fatigue, vibration, dynamic, and thermal performance to meet project deliverables.
• Build, validate, and deliver FEA models and hand calculations to demonstrate structural integrity and support engineering decisions.
• Produce formal technical documentation, including reports outlining assumptions, loads, boundary conditions, material properties, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with designers, manufacturing engineering, and production teams to present analysis results, resolve review comments, and provide knowledge transfer during project milestones and closeout.
  
  

Required

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related technical discipline from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience performing structural analysis on tooling, fixtures, equipment, or structural members.
• Demonstrated ability to review or build 3D CAD models and produce clear technical reports with well-documented engineering data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in standard office tools and configuration/version control practices.
