The successful candidate will work closely with engineering teams, contractors, and project management to ensure all electrical and instrumentation work complies with project specifications, applicable codes, and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical review and commentary on drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure compliance with relevant codes and company requirements.
- Monitor contractor operations to verify conformance with project plans and specifications for all electrical and instrumentation aspects.
- Track and coordinate pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, and prepare daily progress reports to project leadership.
- Inspect installations, review and approve as-built documentation, and assist with resolving technical issues in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of relevant field experience.
- Minimum 5 years of engineering experience with LNG, power, or oil and gas plants preferred; experience with EPC contracts.
- Ability to work independently on-site five days a week and strong effective time management skills.
- Proven experience in design review, planning or execution of plant shutdowns, and the ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships.
