Position Overview
The Tax Senior will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, and related entities. This role requires strong technical skills in individual and partnership taxation, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Tax Preparation & Review: Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for HNW individuals, partnerships, trusts, and related entities.
- Tax Planning: Assist with proactive tax planning strategies to optimize client outcomes.
- Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely filing of all tax returns and related documents.
- Research: Conduct tax research on complex issues and provide recommendations.
- Client Interaction: Communicate with clients and internal teams to gather information and resolve issues.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership and other departments to deliver exceptional service.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred.
- Experience:3 years of tax experience in public accounting or family office environment.
- Strong background in high-net-worth individual and partnership returns.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
