Business Development Manager - Private Equity

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with private equity attorneys to develop and execute strategic client development plans
- Lead the creation of tailored pitches, proposals, and marketing materials for fund formation, buyouts, and portfolio company transactions
- Identify and pursue opportunities for profile-raising, including speaking engagements, sponsorships, and thought leadership
- Collaborate with internal teams on directory submissions, client targeting, and competitive intelligence
- Support cross-practice initiatives (e.g., M&A, finance) and contribute to firmwide BD strategy
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5–8 years of experience in legal business development, ideally supporting private equity or transactional practices
- Strong writing, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with senior attorneys
- Experience with CRM systems, marketing platforms, and legal directories preferred
