The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience handling complex medical malpractice cases, including pre-trial litigation, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation. Key Responsibilities:
- Represent healthcare providers, hospitals, and insurers in medical malpractice defense matters
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
- Manage case files from inception through resolution
- Participate in depositions, mediations, and court hearings
- Collaborate with expert witnesses and prepare for trial
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide strategic legal counsel
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the New Hampshire Bar (or eligibility for admission)
- 3–5 years of experience in medical malpractice or healthcare litigation
- Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
- Commitment to ethical practice and professional development
Preferred Skills:
