POSITION SUMMARY
A Trim Cap Specialist fabricates and installs trim cap edging on channel letters and custom signage
components. This role involves bending, shaping, and attaching trim cap material to sign faces to create
durable, weather-resistant, and visually appealing illuminated signs

REQUIREMENTS SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS· Ability to read tape measures and technical drawings accurately.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience in sign fabrication, channel letter assembly, trim cap application or a manufacturing related field · Knowledge of illuminated signage and LED systems. · Welding or electrical experience · Previous forklift or crane experience · OSHA 10 certification

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES· Measure, cut, and apply trim cap materials to channel letters and custom signage
- Fabricate sign components using hand tools, power tools, and specialized sign-making
- Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and production specifications
- Assemble illuminated and non-illuminated sign structures
- Ensure proper alignment, adhesion, and finish quality of trim cap applications
- Inspect completed products for quality, accuracy, and durability
- Assist with acrylic trimming and channel letter assembly as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized fabrication workspace
- Follow workplace safety procedures and equipment guidelines
- Coordinate with production teams, installers, and project managers to meet deadlines
REQUIREMENTS SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS· Ability to read tape measures and technical drawings accurately.
- Skilled in using fabrication tools and equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds (lbs) and stand for extended periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, manual dexterity, grip strength, and reach overhead
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights greater than six feet
- Ability to tolerate repetitive motions
- Frequently grasp, hold, squeeze, or manipulate objects using hands
- Good teamwork and communication skills
