POSITION SUMMARYA Field Installer installs, maintains, repairs, and removes commercial, residential, or roadside signage
at customer locations. This role involves working outdoors, operating tools and equipment, reading
installation plans, and ensuring signs are installed safely and according to specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
REQUIREMENTS SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
· Current Class A or B driver’s license · Must maintain a clean motor vehicle record (MVR) · Ability to comply with company and state-mandated drug screening policies · Must pass a background check in accordance with company policy and applicable laws · Current Department of Transportation (DOT) medical physical card · Comply with DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations · Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills · Ability to read tape measures and technical drawings/blueprints accurately. · Ability to lift to 50 pounds (lbs) and stand for extended periods · Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a vehicle · Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, manual dexterity, and reach overhead · Ability to climb ladders and work at heights greater than six feet · Good teamwork and communication skills

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install various types of signs including vinyl graphics, channel letters, monument signs, banners,
- Measure and prepare installation sites
- Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and bucket trucks
- Load, transport, and unload signage materials safely
- Perform electrical connections for illuminated signs when required
- Inspect completed installations for quality and safety compliance
- Troubleshoot and repair damaged or malfunctioning signs
- Follow OSHA safety standards and company procedures
- Communicate with customers and project managers on-site
- Complete installation reports and documentation
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and professional manner
- Transport goods and materials to designated locations according to scheduled routes
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspection
- Ensure cargo is properly loaded, secured, and transported safely
- Maintain accurate driver logs, mileage records, and delivery documentation
- Comply with all DOT regulations, hours-of-service requirements, and company policies
- Report accidents, traffic violations, vehicle damage, and maintenance issues promptly
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and coordinate repairs as needed

- Previous experience in a commercial sign shop.
- Knowledge of illuminated signage and LED systems.
- Experience with construction, carpentry, electrical work, welding, or signage installation
- OSHA 10 and fall prevention certifications
- Crane/lift certification
WORK ENVIRONMENT· Outdoor/indoor job sites on customer locations
- Work performed in a manufacturing and fabrication facility
- Frequent travel and extended periods on the road
- Exposure to traffic, weather conditions, and loading/unloading environments
- May require nights, weekends, holidays, or overnight travel depending on operational needs
