This global operating company has committed over $10B to the LNG space, through various $1-$3B deals, over the past few years.
Job Description:
The company is seeking a Corporate Development Associate to support growth initiatives across M&A, project development, capital markets, and strategic planning. This role will work closely with senior management, the private equity sponsor, and external advisors to evaluate and execute value-accretive opportunities across the LNG value chain.
Responsibilities
Transaction Execution & M&A
- Support the evaluation and execution of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic investments across LNG infrastructure and related midstream assets.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, including project-level cash flow models, valuation analyses, and scenario sensitivities.
- Prepare investment memoranda and materials for internal investment committees and the private equity sponsor
Strategy & Business Development
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis across LNG markets, including supply/demand dynamics, pricing, contracting structures, and regulatory frameworks
- Support strategic planning initiatives, including growth strategy, asset optimization, and capital allocation analyses
Capital Markets & Financing
- Assist in evaluating and structuring project-level and corporate financing solutions, including debt, equity, and hybrid capital
Qualifications:
- 1-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, including project finance and cash flow modeling
- Experience supporting M&A transactions and/or capital raises
- Prior experience in LNG, midstream energy, power, or infrastructure sectors
Salary : $125,000 - $145,000
