Peer Support Specialist

What You'll Do
- Provide recovery-focused support to individuals in an adult SMI program
- Encourage clients to build independence, confidence, and life skills
- Share recovery tools such as WRAP and other supportive resources
- Advocate for client needs and rights
- Assist with care plans and document client progress
- Support group activities, life skills training, and community engagement
- Collaborate with care teams to ensure quality support and services
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of WRAP and Peer Employment Training (or willingness to complete)
- Lived experience receiving mental health services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to connect, motivate, and support others
- Basic computer skills and ability to document accurately
