PCT / Medical Assistant (MA)
We are hiring a PCT or Medical Assistant to support our providers and care for patients. This role includes both clinical and administrative work.
Pay: $20.00 an hour
What You'll Do
- Take patient vitals and update medical records
- Assist with procedures like EKGs, injections, and lab tests
- Prepare and clean exam rooms
- Call patients with results after provider review
- Respond to patient calls and questions
- Coordinate referrals and prior authorizations
- Communicate with pharmacies and specialists
- Document all patient information in the EMR
What You Need
- PCT: High School Diploma or GED 1 year of experience
- MA: Graduate of an accredited MA program current certification
Skills
- Take accurate vital signs and perform basic lab tests
- Strong communication and customer service
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working with diverse patients
- Able to stay calm in fast-paced or stressful situations
