Key Responsibilities
Project Documentation & Layout
- Verify plans, specifications, and shop drawings
- Document existing conditions and daily progress
- Support layout and field measurements
Quality Control
- Inspect work for compliance with plans and specifications
- Monitor workmanship and material quality
- Track deficiencies and punch‑list items
- Coordinate testing and inspections (concrete, soils, steel, fireproofing)
Coordination
- Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers
- Support superintendents with daily operations
- Communicate RFIs, design clarifications, and field issues
- Attend coordination and progress meetings
Scheduling Support
- Track production quantities and progress
- Identify schedule impacts and delays
- Assist with look‑ahead planning
- Verify manpower and equipment utilization
Safety
- Participate in site safety inspections
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies
- Document incidents and corrective actions
Cost Control
- Track installed quantities
- Assist with change order documentation
- Verify subcontractor work completed
- Gather data for pay applications and billing
Technology & Reporting
- Maintain project management platforms (Procore, Autodesk Build, Primavera)
- Produce daily reports and photo documentation
- Manage as‑built drawings
- Use drones, laser scanners, GPS, and surveying tools when applicable
