Responsibilities
- Direct and mentor a team of contract administrators, providing review, approval, and oversight for all department work products
- Act as the primary escalation point for contractual hurdles, delivery challenges, and high-level customer concerns
- Provide strategic risk assessments and lead the capture and proposal process, including RFP analysis, cost volume support, and complex negotiations
- Oversee the full contract lifecycle, ensuring precise interpretation of delivery, inspection, and acceptance requirements across development and production phases
- Maintain rigorous compliance and governance by ensuring all activities align with federal regulations, agency supplements, and internal policies
- Partner with internal stakeholders across engineering, operations, and supply chain to balance cost, schedule, and technical performance objectives

Qualifications/Background Profil
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in U.S. government contract administration, negotiation, and risk management
- Proven leadership background, including experience coaching and developing talent within a contract-focused team
- Deep expertise in hardware-centric programs, specifically regarding delivery, inspection, and acceptance standards
- Strong command of federal contracting frameworks, including FAR/DFARS and various contract types (FFP, T&M, Cost-type)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field (Master’s degree or NCMA certification preferred)
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Deltek Costpoint and ServiceNow is a distinct advantage
Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
