Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of all residential areas, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning, ensuring spaces are spotless and sanitized.
• Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to maintain hygiene standards.
• Manage laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing for clients.
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting, outdoor work, and moving furniture or supplies safely and effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques to preserve their appearance and longevity.
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand their needs, provide updates on service progress, and address any special requests or concerns.
• Use janitorial equipment responsibly while adhering to safety protocols for sanitation and equipment handling.

Skills

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning with knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care, carpet cleaning, and janitorial procedures.
• Strong understanding of cleaning and sanitation procedures along with the use of cleaning detergents and equipment.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work when necessary.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple client homes.
• Exceptional customer service skills with clear communication abilities for client interaction.
• Knowledge of laundry processes including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing.
• Experience in housekeeping management or custodial roles is a plus for leadership responsibilities or specialized cleaning needs.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
