Housekeeper

Job Summary

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of all assigned areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces, and common areas
• Conduct detailed floor care, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning to maintain pristine surfaces
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items
• Ensure sanitation standards are met by disinfecting surfaces, fixtures, and high-touch areas regularly
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ specific cleaning requests promptly and professionally
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing
• Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping preferred
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, sanitation practices, and carpet cleaning methods
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and bending frequently
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality cleanliness standards
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with residents or guests and team members
• Experience with laundry services and basic household maintenance is a plus
• Prior housekeeping management experience is advantageous but not required
