Duties

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including repairs to plumbing, electrical systems, and building fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Conduct landscape maintenance such as mowing lawns, trimming trees, pruning shrubs, planting flowers, and maintaining gardens to ensure vibrant outdoor spaces.
• Operate heavy equipment like excavators for landscaping projects or construction tasks as needed.
• Maintain hardscape features including pathways, patios, and retaining walls by performing repairs or installations.
• Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues promptly.
• Clear snow using snow plows or shovels during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible.
• Assist with tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, or removal to promote healthy growth and safety.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools, power tools, and small machinery.
• Strong background in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices.
• Ability to operate construction equipment such as excavators is preferred.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, snow plowing techniques, and tree care methods is highly desirable.
• Experience working with landscaping materials including hardscape elements like pavers or retaining walls.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions and lift heavy objects when necessary.
