Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of all areas within residential properties.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure hygiene standards are met or exceeded.
• Manage laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items.
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or supplies safely and effectively while adhering to proper handling protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor spaces when required, including sweeping patios or walkways.
• Use cleaning equipment properly, ensuring all tools are maintained in good working condition for optimal performance.
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs and provide excellent customer service throughout the cleaning process.
• Manage time effectively to complete daily tasks within designated schedules without compromising quality.
• Follow all health and safety regulations related to janitorial work, custodial procedures, and handling cleaning chemicals.
• Assist in housekeeping management duties as needed, supporting team coordination and quality control efforts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents, equipment operation, and safety protocols related to manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under time constraints.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and teamwork collaboration.
• Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior spaces when required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including standing for long periods, bending, reaching, and lifting heavy objects safely.
• Prior experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
