The Opportunity
SouthWorth is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented People & Talent Associate to support our growing team. This role is highly execution-focused and plays a key part in both recruiting and onboarding, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for candidates and new hires.
You’ll partner closely with the HR Director, hiring managers, and business leaders to support day-to-day recruiting efforts, lead onboarding execution, and provide general HR support.

What You’ll Do
Recruiting & Talent Support
- Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and role requirements
- Support full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, outreach, phone screens, and interview coordination
- Evaluate candidates and provide recommendations to hiring managers
- Utilize tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and ATS systems to proactively source talent
- Draft and refine job descriptions in collaboration with HR and hiring managers
- Maintain accurate candidate data and ensure a seamless hiring process
- Coordinate interviews and keep the hiring process moving efficiently
Onboarding & Employee Experience
- Coordinate and lead new hire orientation sessions in partnership with leadership
- Prepare onboarding materials, documentation, and new hire resources
- Own onboarding logistics from offer acceptance through start date
- Partner with hiring managers to ensure onboarding plans and training are in place
- Conduct onboarding follow-up to support new hire success
- Assist with offboarding logistics and documentation
HR Operations
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with applicable requirements
- Partner with payroll to process employee changes (hires, terminations, promotions, comp updates)
- Support benefits administration, including enrollments and open enrollment
- Maintain organizational charts, employee files, and HR systems
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide day-to-day HR support
- Coordinate training sessions and HR-related meetings
What You Bring
- 2–4 years of experience in HR, Recruiting, or People Operations
- Hands-on experience supporting recruiting and/or onboarding processes
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, or similar tools
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency
- Resourceful, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of HR practices and employment law preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
