Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Cost Accountant based in Ecru, Mississippi. The Cost Accountant will be responsible for tasks including managing cost accounting processes, preparing and analyzing financial statements, calculating and recording journal entries, and performing financial analysis. The role will support efficient financial operations and play a role in decision-making by providing key financial insights.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Cost Accounting and creating accurate cost reports
- Experience in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements
- Proficiency in Journal Entries and other core accounting practices
- Exceptional Analytical Skills for financial data analysis and problem-solving
- Background or qualifications in Finance to support decision-making processes
- Attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work in an organized manner
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools
- Manufacturing experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA/CMA certification is a plus
