Position Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Tribal Information Services (TIS) Director represents the TIS Department in a positive, professional manner while providing secretarial and administrative support to the Director, Vital Statistics, and the Records Division.
This position is a grade N9; pay is $20.26/hour.
Education And Experience
Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Must have 3 years of experience in a secretarial /clerical capacity.
Must have computer experience with software programs including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Must have experience in establishing and maintaining filing systems.
Must have general knowledge of budgets, general procurement procedures, accounts receivables and payables.
Must have a valid driver’s license for the State of residency and be insurable through the Tribal Vehicle Insurance policy.
Must pass a thorough background check including Criminal History and pre-employment drug test.
Preferred Qualifications
General knowledge of postal regulations.
General knowledge of Tribal Policies and Procedures.
General knowledge of the PeopleSoft system and electronic processes.
General knowledge of the BadgePass system.
