Position Summary
Performs administrative, clerical, and technical support to the Lands Division. Manages the implementation, administration, and enforcement of codes, and land governing documents for the Lands Division.
This position is a grade N12; pay is $27.56/hour.
Education And Experience
Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Must have 2 years of experience in land/property administrative work including the review/ interpretation of legal descriptions, Deeds of Trust, Warranty Deeds, Quit Claim Deeds, contracts and leases related to real estate or real property transactions, and experience working with land assessments.
Must have 2 years of experience in drafting and presenting technical and/or legal information and correspondence in a professional manner.
Must have 2 years of experience working with codes, agreements, policies and procedures, and plans.
Must have current computer experience in software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Must have a valid Driver’s license for the state of residency and be insurable under the Tribal Vehicle Insurance Policy.
Must have or be able to obtain notary status within one year of employment.
Must pass a thorough criminal history background check and pre-employment drug test.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of the Southern Ute Indian Reservation, Tribal natural resources, and land status/ownership.
Strong computer skills in GIS/Arcview and SharePoint.
