Our client is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant to drive reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives that support strategic decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Analytics & Business Intelligence
- Design and deliver standardized reporting, dashboards, and analytical solutions that support business objectives.
- Lead end-to-end analytical projects, from requirements gathering through insight delivery and stakeholder presentations.
- Conduct complex data analysis and provide actionable recommendations to support decision-making.
- Develop and maintain executive dashboards and reporting solutions.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with business and technology teams to understand requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to clarify needs, define project scope, and manage expectations.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by providing insights that drive operational and strategic improvements.
Data & Reporting Solutions
- Develop and optimize SQL queries and reporting processes across large datasets.
- Build and maintain Tableau dashboards and reporting environments.
- Design workflows and automate processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with technical teams to enhance reporting infrastructure and data availability.
Leadership & Mentoring
- Coach and develop team members to strengthen analytical and business intelligence capabilities.
- Promote best practices in analytics, reporting, and data visualization.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across reporting and analytics functions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong experience in analytics, business intelligence, and reporting.
- Advanced expertise in Tableau dashboard and report development.
- Strong SQL development and scripting skills (experience with cloud data platforms preferred).
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into analytical solutions.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and priorities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Alteryx workflow development.
- Exposure to AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science initiatives.
- Knowledge of HTML or web-based reporting solutions.
- Experience with enterprise BI and analytics platforms.
- Background in restaurant, retail, hospitality, or consumer-facing industries.
- Previous experience mentoring, coaching, or leading analytics team members.
