Operations Specialist (Contract)
Location: Nashville, TN | Fully Onsite
Soni is partnering with a nonprofit organization in Nashville seeking an experienced Operations Specialist to support a critical short-term transition. This role will focus on helping shift internal operations to a third-party provider, with an emphasis on purchase orders, work orders, and vendor coordination.
This is a fully onsite position in Nashville, and candidates must be available to start ASAP for an approximately 7-week assignment (with potential to extend or convert).
Responsibilities:
- Manage and process purchase orders (POs) with a high degree of accuracy
- Track and coordinate work orders throughout the transition process
- Serve as a liaison for vendor communication and coordination
- Assist with documenting and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Support logistics and operational workflows during outsourcing transition
- Maintain and update data within ERP systems (NetSuite or similar)
- Identify discrepancies and proactively resolve issues through detailed review
Qualifications:
- Proven purchase order experience (REQUIRED)
- Strong attention to detail with a habit of double-checking work
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, transitional environment
- Clean background check required (MANDATORY)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with work order management
- Background in logistics, supply chain, or operations
- Familiarity with legacy or outdated systems
Compensation: $28–$30/ Hour
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
