Soni is partnering with a well-established, family-owned manufacturing organization within the flavor and fragrance industry on an Accounting Manager search. This individual will support core accounting operations and oversee general accounting functions while partnering closely with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who thrives in a collaborative, on-site environment and is looking for long-term stability and impact.
Responsibilities:
- Review bank and credit card reconciliations, including intercompany transactions
- Perform balance sheet account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end close activities
- Support external audit requests and documentation
- Coordinate daily accounting operations and assist Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Operations, Procurement, HR, etc.) to resolve vendor and customer issues
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports and assist with financial statement preparation and reporting packages
- Identify control gaps and recommend improvements related to approval workflows, segregation of duties, and reconciliation standards
- Support the Controller with special projects, ad hoc analyses, and process enhancements
- Utilize reporting tools to produce and analyze financial data
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 5 years of accounting experience within manufacturing, distribution, or B2B CPG environments
- Experience supporting month-end close and general accounting functions
- Exposure to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations
- ERP experience required; NetSuite experience is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and related application

Compensation: $110,000-$120,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
