A registered nurse with expertise in operating room procedures is needed for a 13-week contract position in Strongsville, OH. This role requires proficiency in scrubbing, with experience on the Da Vinci XI system highly preferred. The position offers a chance to work within two distinct operating departments, including a busy 7-room unit focused on inpatient and outpatient care, as well as a larger main OR that supports level one trauma cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scrubbing duties with precision and adherence to sterile technique.
- Operate and assist with Da Vinci XI robotic surgical systems.
- Float between the 7-room inpatient/outpatient unit and the 26-room main operating room as staffing needs dictate.
- Support circulator roles and scrub posterior eye and eye trauma procedures when applicable.
Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio nursing license (RN).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Skilled in operating room nursing with the ability to scrub.
- Experience with Da Vinci XI robotic surgery equipment is essential.
- Ability to manage posterior eye and eye trauma surgeries is a strong plus.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 5 shifts per week.
- Day shift hours: 6:45 AM to 3:30 PM (ten-hour shifts).
