Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments and equipment
- Assist surgeons during procedures, providing instruments and maintaining a sterile field
- Count supplies before and after procedures to maintain accurate inventories
- Ensure patient positioning and comfort prior to and during surgery
- Adhere strictly to infection control policies and protocols
- Support post-operative clean-up and equipment sterilization
- Maintain accurate records and communicate with multidisciplinary team members
