Staff Pharmacist | Cordova, Tennessee

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1 years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Specialty Pharmacy located in Cordova, TN, is seeking a dedicated pharmacist with a strong work ethic to join as a Staff Pharmacist. This Contract-to-Hire opportunity is ideal for a motivated professional interested in long-term growth and the potential to become a partial owner of the company. The role focuses on providing specialized pharmaceutical care in a low-volume setting, with a commitment to patient-centered clinical management.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients with hemophilia, immune deficiencies, autoimmune disorders, and other conditions requiring infused medications.
• Apply therapy-specific expertise to manage factor replacement therapies, emicizumab, and various subcutaneous and IV infusions for chronic conditions.
• Educate patients and their families on complex drug administration techniques, side effect management, adherence, and medication safety at home.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and in-house care coordinators to ensure seamless care coordination.
• Partner with reimbursement specialists to navigate insurance plans, secure prior authorizations, and assist patients with financial assistance options.
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Active Tennessee Pharmacist License required.
• Experience with CareTend pharmacy software is highly desirable; training is available.
• Willingness to obtain licenses in other states is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative healthcare environment.

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
