School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Whitehall, Pennsylvania

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and unrestricted RN, LPN, or LVN license for the state of Pennsylvania
• Experience in school nursing or pediatric healthcare settings is highly valued
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and maintain professionalism in diverse situations
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and parents

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer routine and emergency medical care to students during the school day, as well as on field trips and at camp events
• Document health histories, assessments, and interventions promptly and accurately
• Monitor students’ ongoing health conditions and communicate necessary information to families and school personnel
• Serve as a substitute nurse as needed, ensuring seamless coverage and support
• Promote a safe and healthy environment by following school policies and healthcare protocols
