What You’ll Need:
- Current, valid School Psychologist licensure in Pennsylvania
- Experience working in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Understanding of special education law, evaluation practices, and IEP processes
- Strong communication skills to work with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt between early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school populations as needed
- Capability to maintain organized, confidential records and manage time efficiently
- Enthusiasm for participating in a full-time (Monday-Friday) schedule, though part-time applicants will also be considered
Your Role:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments onsite
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians to develop and implement appropriate intervention strategies
- Provide targeted counseling and crisis intervention within the school environment
- Assist in special education eligibility determinations and attend IEP meetings
- Deliver expertise on behavioral management and response-to-intervention processes
- Maintain accurate documentation consistent with legal and ethical standards
