Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after EP procedures.
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs to ensure patient stability.
- Collaborate with electrophysiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures, including cardiac rhythm mapping and pacing.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding EP procedures and cardiac care.
- Utilize electronic medical records (Cerner) to document patient information accurately and efficiently.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in electrophysiology nursing or a closely related cardiology nursing specialty.
- Strong clinical skills in cardiac monitoring and patient assessment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in fast-paced procedural environments.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR), preferably Cerner.
- Four 10-hour day shifts per week.
- No on-call, weekend, or holiday responsibilities.
- Mandatory flu vaccination; no exemptions accepted.
