Dialysis Registered Nurse | Piscataway, New Jersey

An experienced Registered Nurse with a dialysis background is needed for an 8-week contract position based in Piscataway, NJ. This role offers the opportunity to contribute specialized care in a dynamic dialysis setting, supporting patients with acute and chronic needs. Candidates should be prepared for a flexible schedule, including weekend shifts and on-call responsibilities, with occasional floating between locations.

Schedule/Hours

• 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM
• Every other weekend (Friday and Saturday)
• Two weeks on-call per contract (Monday 11 PM to Monday 7 AM; weeknights 11 PM to 7 AM; weekends 24 hours)
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dialysis care using Braun dialysis machines.
• Float between Capital Health Regional Medical Center and Hopewell campuses as needed.
• Monitor and assess patients undergoing acute and chronic dialysis treatments.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and treatment efficacy.
• Maintain compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Active New Jersey or Compact RN license current at submission.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of dialysis nursing experience in both acute and chronic care settings.
• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred.
  
  

Additional Requirements & Information

• Navy blue scrubs required for uniform.
• Mandatory flu vaccine, with no exemptions accepted.
